U Hrvatskom domu u Voćinu održana je svečanost otvaranja 3. Tjedna botaničkih vrtova i arboretuma Hrvatske. Otvorenju su, između ostalih, nazočili župan Virovitičko-podravske županije Tomislav Tolušić, načelnik Općine Voćin Predrag Filić, ravnateljica Javne ustanove za upravljanje zaštićenim prirodnim vrijednostima Tatjana Arnold-Sabo, direktorica Turističkog ureda Virovitičko-podravske županije Martina Jakelić, predstavnici VIDRA-e Razvojne agencije Virovitičko-podravske županije, predstavnici Fonda za zaštitu okoliša i energetsku učinkovitost, predstavnici Hrvatskih šuma, predstavnici Ministarstva zaštite okoliša, ravnatelj Državnog zavoda za zaštitu prirode Matija Franković… Nakon prigodnog obraćanja organizatora, pokrovitelja i uvaženih gostiju, predstavljen je projekt Nature No.1 te održano predavanje na temu “Jedinstveno bogatstvo drveća i grmlja u obnovljenom Arboretumu Lisičine” nakon čega je održan prigodni Kulturno-umjetnički program KUU Voćin. Svi uzvanici i gosti zatim su se uputili na šetnju Arboretumom Lisičine uz razgledavanje prigodnih sadržaja. Održane su radionice izrade aranžmana, likovna radionica Dječjeg vrtića Voćin, Eko radionica Osnove škole Voćin i radionica Globe grupe Osnovne škole Voćin.
On October 29, 2012, Istvan Barkoczi ( SEFAG’s general director ), welcomed the participants on the Nature No. 1 annotation. The final conference continued with the joint tour of facilities and localities that have been restored during this project. Along with the introductional part and the apposite speech led by the host, three new objects have been represented: Laszlo Studinka Nature Managment Center, Nagysaller Wildlife Park and the Study route. These three objects are connected with the Szigyi High School. Final conference was followed up in the Alexander Hunter Lodge, in the ecoturistical and conferencial centre ( Csokonyavisonta ), where social partners marked the closure of the project.
Within the project a workshop was held at Informational and Educational Center at Noskovačka Dubrava on October 16, 2012. After the presentation of newly opened public institutions ( IEC ) Protection of Natural Values ( Virovitica- Podravina County- Čađavica District ), the members were welcomed by the borough reeve of Čađavica- Mr. Mirko Rončević.to make participants more vivid on the occurence, a short movie on regional Mura- Drava part had been shown. The project partners presented their project acitivities and by the end of the first part of the programme a promotional material was given. Later, Jasnica Medak,Ph. D. , Croatian Forest Institute,Osijek, gave a lecture on The Herbal life of Forest Comunities in Virovitica- Podravina County. Nataša Turić, M.Sc.,with the subject of Natura 2000- Rare or insufficiently familiar Insect species in the area of the Republic of Croatia.
On September 13, 2012, a workshop and a meeting were held at the Alexander Hunting Lodge between the project partners at the ecoturistical and conferencial center (Csokonyavisonta). The participants gathered at the Economy center Nagysaller where they visited newly restored wildlife park, renowed Laszlo Studinka Hunting Lodge where Gabor Galamb,Ph.D., talked about life and works of his late professor, Mr. Laszlo Studinka.
Project Nature No.1 is successfully implemented on both sides of the border. The works are in full swing in Croatia and Hungary.
At Hunting house Alexandra , ecotourism and conference center, Csokonyavisonta, 23th and 24th Febrary 2012 was held workshop and the meeting of the project partners of the project Nature No.1. Lecture on the Beautiful scenery of the internal Somogy held Dr. Magdolna Juhasz, SMMI, and Korreferatum Dr. Janos David. Information on cross-border competition program presented by Milan Kiss, DDRII, and the implementation of the project Nature No.1 by Željka Obajdin, RA “Vidra”.
Organized by the Hungarian project partners in the Forest school Sziagy, 07 September 2011. was held The first presentation a press conference for the Hungarian public and media. After opening arguments the Director of Public Institution for the Management of Protected Natural Values Virovitica Podravina county Tatjana Arnold Sabo, attending the First presentation and press conference were welcomed by Mayor of the Municipality of Labod Lassa Istvan, Mirjana Kašuba, representative of the Croatian Forests and Istvan Barkoczi, general director of SEFAG , in front of the Hungarian partner in the project.
In the Great Hall of Virovitica Podravina county 12th August 2011. was held First conference of the project Nature No. 1 After opening arguments the Director of Public Institution for the Management of Protected Natural Values in Virovitica Podravina county Tatjana Arnold Sabo, present at the opening conference welcomed Iva Šarić Srzić, Head of Department of Urban Planning, Construction, Utilities and Environmental Protection, ahead Virovitica Podravina county, Darko Mikičić, Croatian Forests Ltd., Head of Department Našice and Istvan Barkoczi, general director of SEFAG, ahead of Hungarian partners in the project. After introductory remarks and welcome speeches, project partners presented their activities in the project – for the Lead Beneficiary (LB) Nataša Rap, Croatian Forests Ltd., Project Partner 1 (PP1) Istvan Merczel, SMETE, and for Project Partner 2 (PP2) Tatjana Arnold Sabo, Public Institution for the Management of Protected Natural Values in Virovitica Podravina county.
The Nature No. 1 Project predicts arbocultural and infrastructural restoration and renovation as well as the presentation and promotion of the Lisičine Arboretum on the Croatian side , establishment of the Eco center for Nature Administration, reconstitution of the Studinka Lodge and the affiliation between the Studinka Lodge and the Animal Park on the Hungarian side. Total value of the project amounts to 552,028.26 Euros and will be implementated in the following 16 months.
